GLOBULUS
Eucalyptus globulus cut at dawn in the Jardin des Simples, its leaves and buds sharpened with spearmint and cardamom over crystal moss.
Perfumer: Nicolas Bonneville
Globulus starts from a single moment: a bouquet of Eucalyptus globulus foliage, freshly cut at dawn in the heart of the Jardin des Simples. The perfumer is Nicolas Bonneville.
At the top, the eucalyptus appears in two forms. Leaf oil brings the aromatic side, while an extract of the buds adds a green, fruity edge, together giving a lively freshness. Spearmint oil sits at the heart with a bright, spicy flash of Guatemalan cardamom, and salviac, a material that smells of sage leaves, pushes the green further.
In the base, Cascalone blows in a watery coolness the brand likens to morning dew, and crystal moss, a note close to oakmoss, adds a woody facet. Throughout, the character stays brisk and mentholated.
