SMOKE AND MIRRORS
Born of the memory of Amsterdamer tobacco smoked in a pipe: leathery, apricot-like osmanthus, then tobacco wrapped in tonka, myrrh and honey alongside oud.
Perfumer: Nicolas Bonneville
Smoke and Mirrors starts from a memory: the smell of Amsterdamer tobacco smoked in a pipe. Here, swirls of that tobacco smoke exalt oud.
Aromatic notes sit at the top, with osmanthus, amber, tonka bean and myrrh at the heart. The first impression is osmanthus, a floral breath that is deliciously leathery and apricot-like.
It gives way to a run of addictive notes: tobacco, coated in the ambery, gourmand facets of tonka bean, myrrh and honey, joins the oud and releases the warm breath of Atlas cedar essence and white musks. The perfumer is Nicolas Bonneville.
