La Favorite opens on a question Roos & Roos asks outright: who will be the favorite? The impulse behind it is a mother and daughter fighting over the leading role. Fabrice Pellegrin composed it.
The brand's first words for it are an exotic, spiced vibration. Pink pepper and saffron open onto the troubling note of Rose Wardia, which the brand describes as carrying a wild, feral undertone, joined by the deep resonance of oud.
Patchouli, sandalwood and musks form the base; the brand calls the patchouli round and generous, its woody accents subtly reinforcing the whole. Everything comes to rest on a bed of white musks.
