MENTHA RELIGIOSA
Bright mint against shadowy incense: a scent of light and shade, drawn from a woman imagined as dual and hypnotic.
Perfumer: Fabrice Pellegrin
MENTHA RELIGIOSA began with a woman Chantal imagined: dual, hypnotic, hard to look away from. The perfume builds that double nature as a chiaroscuro, light set against shadow.
The light comes first, from a cold, forceful peppermint and a sparkling bergamot. Then incense and iris take over the heart, smoky and cool-powdered, and the scent seems to step out of the sun into a dim room.
Cedarwood and white musk close it softly, with a quiet, clean wood texture. The perfumer is Fabrice Pellegrin.
