A walk beneath the moon, from dusk to dawn, is the impulse behind White Ballad. Its imagined night includes a midnight dip in the Trevi Fountain. Fabrice Pellegrin paints that scene in generous white flowers.
Bergamot meets the piquant floral edge of ginger blossom and the creamy delicacy of almond blossom. Night-blooming jasmine sits at the centre: the contrast between a fragile-looking flower and its rich, heady scent is part of the inspiration.
Vanilla, amber and white musk wrap the flowers. Fruity and spicy facets add texture to a full floral composition that moves toward a warm, rounded finish.
