About INSENF

INSENF is a fragrance house founded in Seoul in 2025. Fashion, food and everyday encounters supply its subjects, with familiar experiences reconsidered through scent. The house places Korean craftsmanship alongside contemporary fragrance science, using that meeting as a starting point for its work.

History

The idea of bringing heritage and innovation together runs through its founding presentation. Collaborations with several perfumers allow the collection to explore different materials and textures rather than remain within one fragrance family. The house also identifies ingredients from Grasse, France, as part of its approach to making perfume.

Philosophy & Signature Style

Clothing and cooking give its two collections their organising ideas. The Closet Collection draws on the feel and associations of garments, while The Table Collection begins with culinary experiences. Fruit, woods, spice and other olfactory references become ways of translating a texture or a contrast, much as a designer works with fabric or a chef arranges a dish.

Iconic Fragrances (or Did You Know?)

Workwear approaches the lived-in ease of denim through an aromatic, spicy composition. Ruby Glazed takes the small opening course of a meal as its inspiration, bringing raspberry-like fruitiness into contact with refined spice. The subjects are recognisable, but their fragrant interpretations offer room to consider colour, texture and the different sensations a familiar object can suggest.
