ORANGE PATINA

Orange Patina imagines late-afternoon light falling on an old leather sofa. Its fruit reference is closer to sun-warmed flesh or the concentrated sweetness of dried fruit than to sharply fresh citrus. Margaux Le Paih Guérin develops that idea through a fruity leather composition.

Sweet orange, passion fruit, watermelon and peach introduce the fruit character. Osmanthus, orange blossom and plum follow, placing softer floral and deeper fruit impressions beside the brightness of peel. The sweetness gradually takes on a more shaded texture.

Suede and leather provide that change in surface, with amber and guaiac wood bringing warmth underneath. White musk gathers the finish into a softer outline. The movement from sunlit fruit toward familiar leather gives the perfume a tactile subject, allowing warmth and softness to develop alongside the remaining fruit impression.
