Ruby Glazed

Ruby Glazed takes the amuse-bouche as its subject: a small opening bite that builds anticipation for a meal. Concentrated fruit, spice and the cool sheen of a silver plate provide its contrasts. Raspberry is the central reference around which those sensations are arranged.

Lemon zest introduces brightness, joined by pink pepper and the cool sweetness of star anise. A slowly reduced raspberry-coulis impression gives the heart its richer fruit character. A metallic accord outlines it with coolness, while orange blossom and candied-almond impressions add a softer texture.

Saffron brings warmth beneath the fruit, followed by vanilla, amber and soft woods. The finish recalls a glossy glaze, placing warmer sweetness after the cooler central contrast. Created by Sébastien Cresp, the perfume explores vivid fruit through several different culinary and tactile references.
