All Black
Spice, smoke, tobacco and leather interpret a black silhouette through warm, restrained depth.
Perfumer: Amélie Bourgeois
All Black considers the mood and will that remain when colour is stripped away. Spice, tobacco and leather suggest a dark silhouette beneath a soft veil of smoke. Amélie Bourgeois gives the idea a warmer, textured presence within a restrained setting.
Black pepper and cinnamon leaf open with spice. Tobacco, elemi and incense follow with a drier impression, sharpened by rosemary. The composition places the warmer character of spice beside the quieter texture of smoke and resin.
Black leather, ebony wood, castoreum, guaiac wood, cypriol, smoked wood and ambergris form the later structure. Leather-like, woody and earthy references contribute different surfaces within that depth. As with a single-colour outfit whose materials remain distinct, the perfume uses changes in texture to give its darker aromatic setting detail.
