Bergamot and ginseng open the composition, pairing citrus bitterness with greener, herbal associations. Orris and heliotrope follow in the heart. Their powdery character invites attention to texture rather than simply the brightness of a floral bouquet.
Suede, patchouli, ambrette, vanilla, benzoin, opoponax, and musk form the base. Supple leather meets patchouli’s earthy associations and the sweetness of resin. Vanilla adds roundness within the drier landscape.
Leather is given softer companions here: powder, sweetness, and warm resin. The contrast between rough earth and smooth suede offers something to explore during a quieter moment, rather than treating the fragrance as a portrait of leather alone.
