White
Bergamot and lemon leaf meet white pepper, nutmeg and cardamom, with pale woods and musk suggesting the crisp ease of a white shirt.
Perfumer: Christine Nagel
White takes its inspiration from a colour closely tied to Lalique’s world of light and crystal. The house approaches it as something as simple yet expressive as a man’s white shirt. Christine Nagel connects brighter citrus with the definition of spice and the softer character of woods and musk in this eau de toilette, introduced in 2008.
Bergamot, elemi and tamarind form the opening beside a fresher lemon-leaf accord. White pepper, nutmeg and cardamom give that freshness a warmer spicy outline, while violet softens the transition. White cedarwood, white amber, moss and musks lead towards a quieter woody finish, maintaining a lighter character around the warmer materials.
Try it on a morning when you reach for a white shirt, or for a daytime meeting. It offers a direction when you want citrus lightness together with a drier spice accent and softer musk. The 125mL bottle combines a gently curved white body with a silver-coloured shoulder and cap. Red Lalique lettering and the paler grey White name add small accents to its otherwise restrained appearance.
