Infinite Shine
Inspired by sunset over desert dunes, rose meets warmer Safranal and smoother sandalwood, with fruit, moss and patchouli adding depth.
Perfumer: Corinne Cachen
Infinite Shine draws on the colours of sunset over desert dunes and on perfume rituals in which scented fabrics move through the air. Composed by Corinne Cachen and introduced in 2019, the eau de parfum centres its creative direction on rose, sandalwood and saffron-like spice. The fragrance molecule Safranal brings warmer, leather-like detail around the more vivid flowers, connecting their richer expression with a drier texture.
Cardamom and raspberry form the opening, rose follows at the heart, and moss and patchouli complete the base. Alongside that structure, warmer Safranal and the creamier character of sandalwood give the composition another relationship between flowers and wood. Softer fruit sweetness, drier spice, and the quieter depth of moss and patchouli provide different textures around the rose, allowing its petal character to develop within a warmer setting.
Try it when you want rose accompanied by spice and wood alongside its floral sweetness. The 100mL bottle shows a pale golden liquid through stepped glass. A white cylindrical cap, a gold-toned neck, and fine cord with a small ornament at the side give its clearer lines a warmer visual setting, suggesting the softer colours of sunset.
