Callisto

Callisto is Jul et Mad's attempt to hold a name's double nature in a single scent, linking clarity with darkness. Its starting image is a summer dusk sliding into night, and an imagined walk along a black, glittering beach beneath the stars. The flight toward the stars that follows is framed less as a look outward than as a journey inward, toward an awareness of oneself.

The opening is bright: pink pepper, neroli and aldehydes give a crackle of spice and a clear white-blossom glow, like the last light in the evening sky. At the heart, the powdery softness of iris and heliotrope meets the sweetness of tonka bean, so the floral core also takes on a gentle, confectionery warmth.

In the base, vanilla and benzoin bring a warm, rounded sweetness, while musk and patchouli draw it into a calmer shade of depth. Composed by Luca Maffei, it balances powder and gourmand in a fragrance with a fully unisex character.
