Sleeping Quechua
Mate, tobacco, oud and suede evoke the warmer, animalic atmosphere of an imagined hunter resting in the pampas.
Perfumer: Aistis Mickevičius
Sleeping Quechua depicts an imagined Quechua hunter resting in Argentina’s pampas. His dream of drinking mate and a nearby grazing horse become a warmer, more animalic scene built around leaves and suede. Created by Aistis Mickevičius in 2022, the fragrance gives this narrative a more tactile woody depth.
Yerba mate, angelica and white pepper combine tea leaves and herbs with a lighter spicy edge. Tobacco leaf and jasmine develop drier leaf texture and softer flowers. Amber, patchouli, oud, suede and musk provide warmer wood and a closer skin-like quality underneath, giving the greener opening greater depth and a softer finish.
Consider it for cooler outings or clothing that suits warmer leaves and suede. This is an editorial suggestion from its story and composition. The illustrated 50mL Parfum has clear rectangular glass, a black cylindrical cap, black front lettering, white rear branding and a thicker glass base.
