About Frassaï

Frassaï is an Argentine fragrance house founded by Natalia Outeda in 2013. Its work draws on her connections with Buenos Aires and New York, bringing South American landscapes, cultural stories and travel into perfume.

History

Outeda entered the fragrance industry in 2005 after studying design in New York. Her experience in a restaurant, surrounded by food and elaborate floral arrangements, also shaped her interest in ephemeral beauty. Frassaï began with perfume pendants made in precious metals before expanding into wearable fragrances. The name joins fragrance with assai, a test of metal purity, preserving that early connection between scent and jewellery.

Philosophy & Signature Style

Outeda develops each creative concept with a collaborating perfumer. A story or a place provides the starting point, while the wearer is invited to add personal associations. The house describes its approach as slow perfumery, taking time over each small-batch composition. Argentine connections extend to materials such as yerba mate, aguaribay and palo santo in particular fragrances. This is a collection to explore through individual stories and textures rather than a fixed signature accord repeated across every bottle.

Representative Fragrances

Teisenddu takes inspiration from the Welsh settlers’ black cake in Patagonia through rum and leather. Tian Di approaches the myth of Xiwangmu’s peach tree through fruit and incense. Verano Porteño evokes jasmine in a Buenos Aires summer, while Blondine draws on a fairy-tale princess discovering flowers in an enchanted forest.
