A Fuego Lento
A nocturnal Andean cabaña rendered in black currant buds, orange flower, jasmine sambac, tolu balsam, and suede.
Perfumer: Rodrigo Flores-Roux
A Fuego Lento sketches an evening at the foot of the Andes, where a wood fire and a scattering of stars warm a small cabin shared by two. Black currant buds and orange flower open with a bright, nervy sweetness, their green edge keeping the florals awake. Jasmine sambac grows denser as the hour turns, nocturnal and heady rather than innocent, and tolu balsam settles underneath with a resinous, almost caramelised depth. Suede softens the trail into something close against the skin, while a hint of civet and the hay-like sweet vernal grass hold the composition in that private, after-dark register the name promises. Rodrigo Flores-Roux signs an eau de parfum that reads as slow, intimate, and openly sensual — perfume as room temperature on a cold night, not as scenery.
