Raised in Mexico City, Flores-Roux considered other paths before choosing scent as a profession. He trained at Givaudan in Paris, learning from figures including Jean-Claude Ellena how to streamline an idea and step outside convention. A long international career followed in New York, where he works as a Vice President and Master Perfumer at Givaudan.
Creative Style & Philosophy
Historical formulas, cultural records, and regional plants are researched but not reproduced as the past; they meet contemporary molecules and diffusion techniques. Citrus, white florals, smoke, woods, and resins are placed in generous structures with clear color and texture. Latin American experience remains a layered cultural vocabulary rather than a single exotic sign.
