Anima Dulcis evokes a seventeenth-century convent in Mexico. ARQUISTE imagines nuns preparing cocoa infused with chilies and spices.
Sesame, cinnamon and oregano open the composition, leading to clove, cumin and a smoked chili infusion. Cocoa and Mexican vanilla shape the finish. Spice and a suggestion of smoke bring depth to the sweetness.
