One of Clinique's signature fragrances, Happy expresses a bright mood through citrus and flowers. Ruby red grapefruit, mandarin and bergamot form the opening, followed by Hawaiian wedding flower and an orchid impression described through morning dew. Mimosa and a transparent wood accord make up the base. The flowers soften and broaden the juicy freshness of the fruit, giving the composition its citrus-floral character. The standard 100 mL bottle is clear glass with a silver-coloured cap and lettering in white and orange. The scent is an eau de parfum, with the emphasis on the relationship between lively citrus and softer floral notes.
