About Anna Sui
Anna Sui is the label of American designer Anna Sui, known for contemporary clothing built on extensive research into vintage styles and film and music. Her fragrances carry the same storytelling sensibility.
History
Raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Sui joined New York's creative underground in the 1970s, forming lasting ties across fashion, photography, art, music, and design. She staged her first runway show in 1991 and opened her first store, in SoHo, in 1992. Her signature fragrance followed in 1999, and the fragrance license later moved to Interparfums.
Giving the Scent a Shape
Sui brings details from different eras into the same outfit. In her fragrance range, the bottle gives each idea a physical shape of its own. It can introduce the setting of a scent before the first spray.
Signature Fragrances
**Sundae**
The ice cream series pairs dessert-shaped bottles with different scents, and the cartons are shaped like ice cream tubs. Pretty Pink opens with pink pomelo, and a cherry perches on its lid.
**Wild Wonder**
This collection draws on scenes from dreams. Dew Fields opens with green tea and lemon before peony and rose come through.
