Sui Dreams takes the idea of a dream as its theme, and Anna Sui places vanilla at the center of it. The composition moves from citrus and fruit through a bouquet of flowers to a warm, skin-close finish.
The opening pairs bergamot, tangerine and bitter orange with the juicy roundness of nectarine, so sweetness and tang arrive together rather than vanilla leading from the first moment. In the heart, peony, freesia and rose are softened by peach, giving the florals a rounded, fruity edge.
The base gathers vanilla, sandalwood, cedarwood and skin musks. The dry calm of the woods and the musk hold the sweetness in place, letting the fragrance settle closer to the skin as it wears.
