Sundae Mellow Yellow is built around a simple scene: sharing a good sundae with friends. Anna Sui describes it as a carefree, faintly nostalgic moment, and classes the scent as fruity watery floral.
The top note of sugared lemon rounds off the fruit's sour edge, followed by the pulpy juiciness of passion fruit and mountain peach. In the heart, osmanthus, crab apple blossom and jasmine sambac gather, with osmanthus adding its apricot-like floral sweetness.
Vanilla, plum wood and musk close the composition. The soft sweetness of vanilla takes in the juicy brightness of fruit and flowers and brings it to a calm finish.
