Soir de Lune
Citrus and spice give way to a delicate bouquet of flowers and fruit, held in honeyed, woody warmth.
Perfumer: Dominique Ropion
Soir de Lune is a fragrance that resists a single reading. Sisley lists the associations it can carry: a creative impulse, a closely kept secret, a declaration of love. It is presented as a scent that brings out the wearer's individuality.
At the top, bergamot, mandarin and lemon are paired with coriander, nutmeg and pepper. The citrus brightness comes first, with a dry, grainy spice close behind.
The heart gathers jasmine, May rose, iris, lily of the valley, mimosa and peach. A soft, spiced warmth answers this delicate fruity floral bouquet. In the base, honey, musk, sandalwood, patchouli and cedar hold the flowers and fruit quietly in place.
