Ad Libitum
Citrus and aldehydes meet jasmine, cedar and moss, inspired by sunset over Prague Castle.
Perfumer: Jakub F. Hiermann
Ad Libitum begins with the fading light over Prague Castle, marking the passage from an energetic day into the city’s nightlife. Adolf Loos and Le Corbusier provide an architectural reference for its slightly nostalgic view of Prague. That setting gives the chypre structure an urban character.
Tangerine, bergamot and aldehydes create a bright opening. Cedar, jasmine and neroli form the heart, balancing flowers with drier wood. Oakmoss, musk and patchouli make up the base, grounding the citrus with a quieter, more textured impression.
Consider it for the evening after work or with a collared shirt. It can appeal to someone who enjoys clear citrus alongside a structured mossy wood character. Created by Jakub F. Hiermann, Ad Libitum appeared in 2018 as an eau de parfum. The illustrated 50mL bottle combines transparent glass and a wooden cap.
