Rahele
An osmanthus-centred fragrance inspired by seventeenth-century travellers, joining floral fruitiness with green leaves, spice and leather.
Perfumer: Bertrand Duchaufour
Meaning traveller, Rahele draws on the journeys of seventeenth-century French visitors to India. It connects Indian woods and spices with flowers and herbal accents associated with classical French perfumery. Green mandarin and violet leaf bring a fresh green character, warmed by cardamom and cinnamon. At the centre, osmanthus contributes a soft, apricot-like floral fruitiness, layered with rose and iris. Cedarwood, oakmoss and leather add dry texture and depth around the flowers. Their combination gives the composition a sense of movement between bright greenery, rounded petals and a more grounded, woody character.
