Mohur Eau de Parfum
A rose-and-oud composition rounded by almond milk, with dry spice and leather giving the flowers depth. Its name refers to an Indian gold coin.
Perfumer: Bertrand Duchaufour
Named after an Indian gold coin, Mohur connects the opulence of Mughal rose perfumes with the spicy leather atmosphere of a polo match. It pays tribute to Empress Noor Jahan, who inherited an interest in perfumery from her mother. Cardamom and black pepper bring a dry, lively contrast to the flowers. Turkish and Moroccan roses are layered with orris and violet, while almond milk lends a smooth, rounded texture. Oud, sandalwood, benzoin and vanilla support the floral heart, bringing sweetness and a restrained leather depth to this eau de parfum.
