Patchouli Ink
Patchouli, musk, and vanilla evoke ink lingering on paper, with citrus brightness meeting a cool mineral impression.
Perfumer: Fabrice Pellegrin
Patchouli Ink
Patchouli Ink gives the permanence of words on paper an olfactory expression. For the 2024 eau de parfum, Fabrice Pellegrin combined cool mineral impressions with softer animalic sweetness to suggest ink and the velvety texture of paper.
Patchouli is joined by an ink accord, bergamot, musk, and vanilla. Citrus brings light around the earthy woody depth, while the ink impression adds a cooler shadow. Musk and vanilla round the composition, placing a soft warmth around its drier paper-like texture.
Amber-coloured liquid fills the 125 mL bottle beneath a black cap and beside a silver strip. Quiet desk time and subdued clothes offer a fitting context for its meeting of sweetness, earth, and mineral coolness.
