The profile is cool, metallic, mineral, sooty, and slightly astringent. It can suggest a fountain pen touching paper, damp cellulose, graphite, iron gall, black tea, or the hush of a dark library.

Use in Perfumery

Ink works from the top into the heart with patchouli, oakmoss, violet leaf, leather, woods, musks, iris, black tea, and smoky notes. It reduces sweetness and adds an abstract shadow.
