Athanor draws on the alchemist’s search for a way to transform the ordinary into beauty. Its name refers to a crucible where materials change under heat. The fragrance was composed by Luca Maffei.
Sulfur, blackcurrant and saffron open the composition, followed by iris, cypriol and smoky Fumencens. Cashmeran, guaiac wood, vetiver and black amber form the base. The sculpted cap depicts two figures working at the crucible.
