Sugi

Sugi evokes a cedar forest as morning sunlight brightens the air. Bergamot and woody aromas describe the pleasure of fresh forest air, giving the fragrance a green, luminous direction rather than a heavy timber character. It was introduced with KITOWA’s water-based Eau Éclosion range in 2022.

Bergamot, cedar leaves and juniper berries combine citrus brightness with aromatic coniferous greenery. Sugi wood meets jasmine and magnolia in the heart, where flowers add a softer texture to the forest impression. Cedar, sandalwood and dry amber support a calmer woody finish beneath that freshness.

The alcohol-free formula comes in a flat, rounded 50mL glass bottle with a black wooden cap and is shaken before use. Its bright woods suit a morning outing or simple daytime clothing, offering a fresh approach to the atmosphere of a Japanese forest.
