NOISETTE IRIS sets out to push the comfort of a gourmand perfume to the extreme. Its axis is an oriental-floral-gourmand accord, and the house likens the opening to a cocktail of rose, spices and coffee liqueur, drawn in the pyramid from Turkish rose, pink pepper and coffee.
Hazelnut sits at the center. Sophisticated accents of iris powder lend refinement to its sweetness, and the pair is met by the warm, skin-soft pairing of vanilla and musk; that meeting is the peak of the gourmand experience the house describes. Blackcurrant, peach blossom, labdanum and patchouli add shadings of fruit, flower, resin and earth around it. Composed by Luca Maffei.
