BERGAMOTE TWIST begins with reinventing what the house calls the iconic bergamot. Jul et Mad describes the scent as a celebration of the most beautiful bergamot: the citrus takes the lead, enriched with pure essential oils of lavender and labdanum and sustained by an amber accord, which together give it a genuine chypre character.
The house classifies it as citrus, floral and spicy with a chypre twist. The chypre accord placed in the base draws the bright citrus into a classic frame. Around the bergamot sit soft, powdery, sweet and spicy accents, given concrete form in the pyramid by cardamom, iris and vanilla. Composed by Luca Maffei.
