Rosam, white gold centers on a rose held between oud and incense. The house frames silver as a symbol of the moon, the metal that gives gold its brilliance. That image carries through the scent: a delicate rose lit from the front, with resin and wood waiting just behind it.
The opening pairs rose petals with citrus. The fruit keeps the flower bright and lifted before it can turn heavy. Saffron flowers, incense and rose absolute follow, adding the dry heat of spice and the smoky edge of resin to the rose's sweetness.
Amber, sandalwood, patchouli and oud form the base. Oud brings a dark, dense wood, softened by creamy sandalwood and the earthy weight of patchouli. Amber wraps the whole structure in warmth. Rose remains the floral focus of the composition, set against the darker textures of resin and wood.
The phrase "majestic, royal and fragile rose" names it well. There is radiance and shadow in the same breath, which suits evening wear and cool weather. An unhurried evening offers a fitting setting for enjoying the contrast between the flower and the oud.
