Fidelis, Pink Gold
Named for gold wedded to copper, Fidelis opens with cardamom, Guatemalan coffee and saffron warming on skin. Rose and raspberry soften the heart, while patchouli, Laotian oud and amber give the spicy woody base its depth.

Fidelis, Pink Gold takes its name from gold wedded to copper, a pink metal dedicated to Venus, the goddess of love and seduction. The composition reads as a lingering kiss in the hollow of the wrist, built from coffee, saffron and spicy amber.
The opening is cardamom, Guatemalan coffee, saffron and cumin. Coffee brings a roasted bitterness, saffron a dry heat, and cardamom a cool, green edge that keeps the spices from turning sweet too soon. Cumin adds a faint warmth that feels close to skin.
At the center is rose. Rose absolute gives the heart a dense, velvety weight, and raspberry runs a red fruit sweetness through it. The fruit loosens the flower, and a temperature like that of a kiss settles into the middle.
The base is patchouli, amber and Laotian oud. Patchouli brings damp earth, oud a resinous bitterness, and amber wraps both in a slow, rounded warmth. Rose adds a softer sweetness above the bittersweet wood and resin as the composition settles.
This is a scent for autumn and winter evenings, worn close to the skin. The spice and oud have enough presence to suit heavier fabrics and quieter, more formal dress.
