Patchoulight
Pink pepper, iris and rose bring light to earthy patchouli and soft musk.
Perfumer: Philippe Paparella-Paris
Patchoulight brings light and a sense of air to the depth of patchouli. Iris introduces a floral dimension, setting a brighter impression against earthy wood. The second half of its name expresses that meeting of contrasting textures.
Pink pepper provides a light opening accent before iris concrete, rose and violet leaf. Floral softness and green leaves meet patchouli, musk and benzoin at the base. Earthy depth is layered with powdery flowers and resinous warmth, giving patchouli several ways to be experienced.
Choose it for a day when patchouli should also feel floral and soft. A tailored jacket or understated colours can complement it. It offers an approach to the material for someone who finds pure woods too stern or seeks a floral fragrance with restrained sweetness.
The fragrance first appeared in 2018. The Japanese licensee’s press material credits the original composition to Philippe Paparella. Current 100mL and 50mL bottles contain an alcohol-free eau de parfum. Their green cylindrical shape and long gold cap express the house design.
