Poltergeist

A night-time pine forest and the unruly energy of a noisy spirit set the scene for Poltergeist. This limited re-release of an early Douglas Little creation brings together green herbs, smoke and resin. Juniper, pine, wormwood and frankincense introduce the composition, followed by champaca flower. Birch tar and cade bring a scorched-wood texture beside cedar, vanilla, patchouli, labdanum and palo santo fruit. Galbanum adds a sharper green aspect. The contrast between cold coniferous notes and darker, smoking woods gives the imagined forest its restless character.
