About This Fragrance
Metáfora is a 2010 floral-aromatic fragrance from Fueguia 1833. Its Spanish name means metaphor: the creation of a new meaning when unlike elements are brought together. Here, fruit, white flowers, and spice form an olfactory image that cannot be reduced to one material.
Scent Profile
Instead of a conventional top-heart-base pyramid, Metáfora uses Fueguia’s chord-based structure. Arazá is the tonic, Jazmín Grandiflora the dominant, and Aguaribay the subdominant. Jasmine, ginger, and lemon move as the melodic line. Tart fruit lifts the white floral center, while dry peppery spice keeps its sweetness taut and transparent.
Who It's For
It suits people who want jasmine with lucid acidity and fine spice rather than a heavily sweet white floral. Spring, summer, and the daytime of early autumn are natural settings, especially for bookstores, galleries, cafés, reading, and close conversation. Because editions, skin, and weather can change the impression, it is best sampled lightly on skin.
