Fueguia 1833 is a niche fragrance house founded in Buenos Aires in 2010 by Argentine creator Julian Bedel. The name evokes South American history, Patagonia, and nineteenth-century exploration, while the brand treats perfume as a way to record places, people, plants, and memory. Now also associated with Milan and with its own botanical and production practices, the house has built a distinctive language around South American materials, cultural references, literature, science, and personal narrative.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The house is known for limited editions, respect for natural variation in raw materials, and a descriptive system that often uses Acorde, Melodía, and Sensaciones rather than only a conventional top-heart-base pyramid. Each fragrance tends to carry a specific person, landscape, myth, text, or research question.
