Organ #4
The polishing of reliquaries inspires metallic gleam beside soft flowers, woods and amber warmth.
Perfumer: Filippo Sorcinelli
Organ #4 imagines the polishing of reliquaries before a solemn ceremony. A cloth passes over gold and silver, reflecting candlelight across the altar, while a restrained, clear organ sound accompanies the work. Metallic tension meets softer sweetness and amber warmth, translating the care given to those objects into a fragrance.
Latex, amber woods and oakwood form the subject; peony, iris and brass the counter-subject; mandarin, cardamom and black pepper the tail. Supple material-like texture and warmer wood meet softer flowers and a metallic gleam, with citrus and spice adding a brighter, sharper outline.
Consider it for flowers and warmer wood with contrasting metallic and rubber-like textures. The tall clear 100mL bottle reveals pale yellow liquid. A distorted black vinyl-record-like cap appears side-on above the bottle’s front label, with its thick glass base completing the form.
