Ferragamo Red Leather, launched in 2024, is a citrus aromatic leather inspired by the force of the colour red.
Italian bergamot, mandarin pulp and fresh ginger set the opening, bright with a sharp bite from the ginger. Rosemary carries that herbal edge into the heart, where Egyptian jasmine absolute and iris lend a softer floral touch.
The leather arrives in the base, settled on Haitian vetiver and sandalwood. Coming after so much citrus and herb, it reads as supple rather than heavy, which is where the easygoing Italian character the brand speaks of shows through.
