Career
His father, Raymond Chaillan, was a perfumer and fragrance-industry executive, so raw materials and laboratories were familiar from childhood. Chaillan trained formally at ISIPCA in Versailles and gained practical experience working with his father at J&E Sozio. He later joined IFF, where he has held senior and vice-presidential roles in fine fragrance over a long career.
Creative Style & Philosophy
Fruit, florals, woods, and amber can occupy large polished structures without obscuring the central material.
