LX48
Violet and geranium lead to tobacco, tree moss, cedar and vintage leather, evoking a more nocturnal city character.
Perfumer: Jean-Marc Chaillan
LX48 pays homage to the former flagship at Lexington Avenue and 48th Street. Jean-Marc Chaillan drew inspiration from midcentury oak-panelled club rooms and the store’s tradition of blending bespoke fragrances for individual clients. Nocturnal New York energy meets the more intimate character of worn wood and leather.
Violet and geranium give the opening a darker floral outline with greener edges. Tobacco and tree moss deepen the heart, followed by cedarwood and vintage leather. Cooler floral shadows sit around dry leaf, timber and more supple leather, creating several contrasting textures within the composition.
Consider it for an evening outing or clothing that suits quieter woody and leathery presence. This eau de parfum retains distinctive flowers and tobacco within its more tailored character. The illustrated 100mL bottle has tall cylindrical glass, a gold sculpted cap, embossed lettering and a thick clear base.
