Oud
Incense and cardamom meet fir balsam and osmanthus, then deeper oud and warmer wood.
Perfumer: Olivier Pescheux
Oud is a perfumed oil created by Olivier Pescheux. An olfactory journey towards eastern fragrance traditions shapes its setting, with smokier impressions of incense and wood meeting natural agarwood and a drier amber-like character. The 15mL oil presents a defined resinous and woody composition.
Incense and cardamom lead into fir balsam and osmanthus absolute. Natural agarwood essence and an ambery woody accord form the base. Richer resin and softer flowers meet deeper wood, while the warmer amber-like texture gives those materials a more rounded foundation.
Consider it when wood and resin suit a gentler floral presence. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 15mL bottle has small clear rectangular glass, a dark brown oil, a patterned neck, a wider silver-coloured stopper and gold fragrance lettering on the front.
