Midnight Special was created by Olivier Pescheux and introduced in 2017. It reinterprets the tradition of mukhalat, a blend of fragrant materials, through a more nocturnal Parisian setting. Spice, rose, deeper wood and softer sweetness connect those different cultural impressions within the fragrance.
Saffron, black pepper and cinnamon lead into rose absolute and a rose accord. Patchouli, oud accord and vanilla form the base. Warmer spice meets a fuller floral texture, then moves towards deeper wood and smoother sweetness beneath the central bouquet.
Consider it with evening clothing when flowers and spice suit deeper wood. This is a composition-based suggestion. The illustrated 100mL Eau de Parfum has glass fading from black above to clear below, a gold-coloured cap and gold geometric decoration around the fragrance name.
