Scent Development and Character
A dense, resinous amber-woody composition where herbal oregano and hot pimento spark over bright bergamot before sinking into a smoky heart of frankincense, cistus and opoponax. As it settles, thick amber and balsams fuse with leather, agarwood smoke, patchouli and sandalwood, creating a dark, smoky-warm veil that feels both chaotic and meditative.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
Best suited to cool to cold weather and evening wear, Interlude Man performs like a statement fragrance: a couple of sprays can project strongly and linger for many hours, making it ideal for formal events, contemplative walks or occasions when a bold, smoky-amber presence is desired, but potentially overwhelming in tight or casual daytime settings. Best in cold to cool seasons, with a clear preference for autumn and winter due to its dense smoky-resinous warmth; use in mild spring weather can work with light application, while summer wear is generally limited to cooler nights or very small doses. Sillage is Strong to very strong sillage: a few sprays create a wide scent aura that can fill a room at first and then settle into a pronounced but more contained trail. Longevity is Very long lasting: on most skin types Interlude Man can remain noticeable for 10–14 hours or more, often persisting into the next day on clothing or in cooler weather. These are editorial estimates derived from the official composition and concentration and will vary with skin and climate.
