Magnifig
Green fig and two teas, with osmanthus and a subtle savoury warmth inspired by a wedding feast.
Perfumer: Yadiy Hadini
Magnifig began as a fragrance Yadiy Hadini made for his own wedding. He returned to the formula afterwards, developing a fresh green fig into something more personal, with flowers, tea and a quiet savoury warmth. The brand connects that contrast with a traditional Malay wedding feast, where sweet and savoury dishes share the table.
Fig, butter CO₂ and an in-house Japanese tea tincture form the top, setting green fruit and tea against a rounded texture. In the heart, osmanthus absolute brings an apricot-like sweetness and a leathery shadow that connect the fruit with an in-house oolong extract. Immortelle absolute contributes honeyed, hay-like, tobacco and spicy facets, working with the tea to suggest an almost umami warmth rather than sweetness alone. Tobacco leaf, musk, amber and wool absolute provide the base.
This 25% parfum is finished with two weeks of maturation and two weeks of maceration. Try a small amount when you want to follow fig beyond freshness, into the richer textures of tea, flowers and a warmly savoury finish.
