Vendetta Donna
Blood orange nectar and carnal tuberose, laid over creamy sandalwood.
Perfumer: Andrew Everett, Dominique Ropion
Vendetta Donna centres on tuberose at its most carnal, set into a woody floral structure. Its name reaches back to Vendetta, a scent the house introduced in 1991 under founder Valentino Garavani, and it arrives paired with Vendetta Uomo as two halves of one story about lovers stepping outside conventional romance.
The first impression comes from a blood orange nectar accord. Perfumer Andrew Everett took the Tarocco Rosso, an Italian red orange valued for its sweetness, as his starting point, then added a salty edge so the juice reads crisp rather than sticky.
At the heart is Tuberose Osmobloom, an exclusive material that master perfumer Dominique Ropion says gives the smell of the flower as it opens at dawn. He used it to push the tuberose towards milky, skin-like depth while keeping its sunny side. Sandalwood then settles underneath as a creamy wood, holding the white floral warmth close to the skin.
