I Miss Violet

A soft, effervescent violet-leather Eau de Parfum that moves from sparkling green violet leaf, champagne and basil over mandarin and ambrette into a watery-powdery bouquet of violet, iris, mimosa and osmanthus. It dries down to supple vegetal leather wrapped in mahogany, musk, vanilla and grey amber, giving a smooth, quietly luxurious musky-woody leather suitable for understated elegance.

Scent Development and Character

A modern **floral leather** built around violet and a vegetal leather accord. It opens with bright green violet leaf, sparkling champagne and aromatic basil over mandarin, ambrette and nutmeg, giving a luminous, effervescent, slightly spicy greenery. The heart turns more powdery and watery-floral as violet, iris, mimosa, osmanthus and cyclamen unfold with a soft ozonic breeze. The base settles into supple vegetal leather wrapped in mahogany woods, musk, vanilla and grey amber, forming a smooth, slightly warm, musky-woody leather rather than a smoky or tarry one.

Who It Is For and When to Wear It

Refined yet intimate, best on days when a soft floral leather feels appropriate rather than a loud statement. Suits smart-casual to elegant attire, office wear if leather is acceptable, and evening occasions where a quietly sophisticated, slightly nostalgic violet impression is desired. Versatile across seasons but best in spring and autumn, with acceptable use in mild winter and cooler summer days. Sillage is Soft to moderate sillage: tends to stay close to the wearer, forming an intimate aura rather than a room-filling trail. Longevity is Moderate to moderately long: typically around 6–8 hours on skin, with some reports of shorter wear in cold weather and occasionally longer in favorable conditions.
