Al Sahra

A cool, shimmering mineral and salty opening brushed with white violet drifts into sand lily and soft Madagascar cinnamon. Frankincense, cistus labdanum, patchouli and sandalwood form a smooth, amber‑resinous woody base that feels like warm desert air over sun‑cooled stone.

Scent Development and Character

Al Sahra opens with a cool, shimmering mineral accord where salt crystals and a delicate white violet create an almost stony, windswept freshness. As it settles, the airy floral impression deepens into the pale, silky petals of sand lily laced with a gentle dusting of Madagascar cinnamon, adding warmth without losing transparency. In the base, frankincense and cistus labdanum form a soft, amber‑resinous glow, wrapped in smooth patchouli and sandalwood that dry down into a quietly luminous woody‑amber trail with just a hint of gourmand spice.

Who It Is For and When to Wear It

On skin, Al Sahra starts with a noticeable but airy mineral‑salty halo, then settles within an arm’s length as the floral and cinnamon warmth emerge. As the incense, labdanum and woods take over, it wears as a soft, glowing woody‑amber veil that is present but understated, more of an intimate desert‑air aura than a room‑filling perfume. Best suited to autumn and winter, with enough transparency and mineral freshness to work on cooler spring days or summer evenings rather than in peak heat. Sillage is Projection is moderate: a noticeable but light aura in the first hours that settles to a close‑to‑skin glow rather than a strong trail. Longevity is Moderate to good longevity for an Eau de Parfum: around 6–8 hours on most skins, with the mineral‑salty opening fading earlier and the resinous woody base lingering closer to the skin.
