Soir d'Orient
Eau du Soir carried eastward, retold through Turkish rose, black pepper and Somali incense.
Perfumer: Olivier Pescheux
Soir d'Orient is a new reading of Sisley's Eau du Soir. It moves the story eastward and portrays a femininity that is at once dazzling and mysterious.
Italian lemon sparkles at the opening, joined by saffron and galbanum. Within that bright acidity, saffron brings a dry warmth and galbanum a bitter green edge.
The heart is Turkish rose, geranium and black pepper. Geranium's leafy brightness and the pepper's bite tighten the rose into a spiced floral. Somali incense, sandalwood and patchouli remain as a soft, woody warmth.
